THE HEART SONG A celebration of divine love through song, story, music and dance. What happens when the mysticism of Bengal's Baul tradition meets the soul of jazz and the beauty of Indian classical music? The Heart Song brings together two extraordinary artists — Parvathy Baul, an internationally acclaimed Baul practitioner and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient, and George Brooks, a celebrated American saxophonist and composer known for his pioneering collaborations with Indian classical legends including Zakir Hussain and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. Joining them are three exceptional musicians — Ashok Ayengar on sitar, Manjunath Sattyasheel on percussion, and Vaibhav Ramani on violin — each bringing their own rich musical traditions into this beautiful collaboration. Through soulful singing, poetry, storytelling, movement and improvisation, The Heart Song explores love, longing, devotion and our shared search for connection. More than a concert, this is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply and experience music that transcends language, culture and boundaries. Come with an open heart. Leave with a song.
